The Nike Mercurial Vapor X is the tenth generation of Nike's flagship speed silo, released in 2015. It arrived in a period when the Mercurial line was at its commercial and aesthetic peak, and the Vapor X is widely regarded among collectors as one of the finest executions of the classic Mercurial silhouette — clean, minimal, and purpose-built for pace.
Cristiano Ronaldo wore the Mercurial Vapor X throughout the 2014–15 and 2015–16 seasons, including during Real Madrid's domestic and European campaigns. The SG-PRO outsole is designed for soft-ground conditions.
